We started sorting our millions of LEGOs today. While we were working on it:

Me, half jokingly: So many bricks! So many LEGOs!
Madelyn, in the same tone of voice I used: You can do it, Mommy!

Madelyn: "Fat" starts with "f"!
Me: How are you going to draw "fat"? Are you going to draw a fat person?
Madelyn: I'll draw a big, fat circle!

The girls took a really long bath this morning since they normally don't get to do that. While in the bath:

Alyson: Farting!
Me: Aly, are you pooping in the bath?
Madelyn: I don't see any poop in the pool, I mean bath.

Madelyn: Why don't you stay alive forever?
Tony: Because your body breaks down.
Madelyn: Down down down....

Second

Me: Alright, who's ready to go to bed?
In unison, both girls raised their hands and excitedly yelled: ME!!!!

While we were at the bank today, Madelyn saw a portrait on the wall and excitedly told me, "Mommy! That's George Washington! And Abraham Lincoln is back by the exit!" Awesome to see that she's learning so much.

Classic kid:

Right after swimming class: I did a gazillion bobs during class today!

A little while later during lunch: I did a hundred bobs during class today!

While Tony was fixing dinner: I did ten bobs during class today!

Right before bed: I did five bobs on one end of the pool and five bobs on the other, so I did ten bobs.

Looks like she really did ten bobs during class today.
