While talking about what people would be for Halloween:

"Maybe Grandma can be a ghost and Grandpa can dress up as a witch like Caroline."

On 270 coming back from the pumpkin patch at Butler's Orchard:

Madelyn: Mommy, why are we going fast?
Me: Because we go fast on the highway.
Madelyn: But on a low-way you go slow.
