Every night we go through the same thing with Madelyn. She jumps and dances while on her stool brushing her teeth. We tell her to stop, but she keeps doing it. Tonight she may have finally learned her lesson.
Madelyn, bouncing and dancing on her stool while "singing" with the Disney Magic Timer app and brushing her teeth: Do do do!
Suddenly, the stool folded up on her and she started to fall off and onto the floor. She grabbed the sink to try to save herself, but fell onto the floor.
Madelyn, as she fell: I'm okay! I'm okay!
She sat on the floor, still brushing her teeth. I fixed her stool and helped her up.
Me: Now, do you see why we keep telling you to stand still on your stool?
Madelyn: Yeah!
(The whole time, Alyson was watching her like she was crazy and just kept letting Tony brush her teeth.)
