While at the Nature Center for their field trip today, Madelyn and her classmates were learning about amphibians and reptiles. When they started talking about reptiles:
Nature Center Employee: What animals are reptiles?
Madelyn before any other kids: A crocodile!
NCE: Yup! [She went through all of the answers from the other kids.] Now, we're going to meet a reptile.
Madelyn: A crocodile!
NCE: You think I'm braver than I am!
