While discussing with Madelyn the importance of trying new foods:

Me: You have to eat a variety of foods so that you are healthy and strong.
Madelyn: What's a variety?
Me: It's when you have lots of different things like eating different things.
Madelyn: Like you could have pancakes for breakfast or dinner.
Me: No, that's kind of the opposite of a variety.
