After dinner, Madelyn was trying to argue that she hadn't had much sugar all day and should get dessert. Earlier in the day she had had half of a Raspberry Swirl Pound Cake from Starbucks.
Madelyn: But it wasn't as much sugar as a cupcake.
Me: How do you know?
Madelyn, slowly realizing that her argument wasn't working: The only sugar in it was the icing... and the cake....
