During our dentist appointments today, it was discovered that Madelyn has two cavities that aren't cavities in the sense that everyone thinks. Her latest molars didn't fuse completely so there are small holes, but they weren't caused by food or bad brushing. Regardless, when the dentist looked at her teeth, he stressed to her the importance of brushing all sides of her teeth very well. She didn't seem to really be paying attention.
While brushing teeth tonight before bed, Madelyn told Alyson, "Be sure you brush all of the sides of you teeth, even the very back. You have to keep your teeth really clean."
Well, I guess she was listening. Now, how long will it last?
