Before we left Mom and Dad's this afternoon:
Madelyn: What are we doing tomorrow?
Me: You know what we're doing. Do you remember what I told you?
Madelyn: I don't know.
Mom: Auntie....
Madelyn: We're going to Auntie Julie's, but I was wondering if we were doing anything else.
Me: Well, if you knew we were going to Auntie Julie's, why didn't you say that?
Madelyn: I don't know.
