The struggle is real when you're competitive with your little sister. This morning when they got to Mom and Dad's, Tony handed Alyson her backpack as she got out of the car. She ran up to the steps, but stopped because she got distracted by something like three-year-olds do. Madelyn noticed that Alyson stopped, glanced back at Tony with her backpack, glanced back at Alyson, and took off for the door. She stopped half way, looked back at Tony, then at the steps like she was torn between taking her backpack like she is supposed to and beating Alyson to the steps, and took off again. Tony yelled for her and she had to come back for the backpack.
